Shape & Sculpt: Begin with a simple block of clay and gently transform it into a collection of charming miniature houses using refined, easy-to-follow hand-building techniques. (No experience needed.)
Artful Detailing: Thoughtfully carve windows and doors, then imprint delicate, nature-inspired

We are a peaceful retreat easily accessible from across Central Scotland:
From Edinburgh: A scenic 45-minute drive via the M90.
From Glasgow: Approximately 1 hour via the A80/M80.
From Perth: Just 20 minutes south.
From Fife: Centrally located for a quick boutique craft getaway.
Please note that a car is needed due to our rural location.

Session 1
Welcome, Inspiration ​
Settling In: 15min - A warm Kinross-shire welcome.
Browse finished "pre-tinted" and "watercolour-wash" examples to see how color interacts with air-dry clay.

15 min - Pre-Tinting & Foundational Shaping
Learn how to create bespoke tiny homes.
Cutting your clay into solid geometric shapes—the "bones" of your mini houses.
​
1 hour | Sculpting & Architectural Detailing
Shaping rooftops, doors and chimneys using hand-pressure.
Using fine needles and clay stamps to "draw" windows, arched doors, and brickwork.
Once you are happy with your mini homes, just leave them with us to dry!

Session 2
Welcome Back!
After allowing the surface of the clay houses to air-dry after a week or so, we are now ready to accept final surface finishes.
​
1 hour | Surface Art: Wash & add details
Applying a diluted "antique" wash to the carved crevices to make architectural details pop. Once dry, then you add the final details to you tiny wee home.

30 min- Once the pain is dry, then applying a thin, specialised gloss that adds a ceramic-style shine

30 min | Showcase, refreshments & safe travels
The Village Display: Line up the finished collection for a group photo against the countryside backdrop.
