Located in the heart of rural Kinross-shire, our studio is a peaceful retreat easily accessible from across Central Scotland:
From Edinburgh: A scenic 45-minute drive via the M90—perfect for a creative day trip.
From Glasgow: Approximately 1 hour via the A80/M80, escaping the city for the fresh country air.

Welcome, Inspiration ​
Settling In: 15min - A warm Kinross-shire welcome.
Browse finished "pre-tinted" and "watercolour-wash" examples to see how color interacts with air-dry clay.

15 min - Pre-Tinting & Foundational Shaping
Learn how to create mini clay flowers
Cutting your clay into solid shapes—the "bones" of your Clay Flower Bouquet

1 hour | Sculpting & Architectural Detailing
Shaping your clay flowers using hand-pressure.
Using fine needles and clay stamps to "draw" details into the flowers
Once you are happy with your clay flowers, just leave them with us to dry!

Session 2
Welcome Back!
After allowing the surface of the clay flowers to air-dry after a week or so, we are now ready to accept final surface finishes.

1 hour | Surface Art: Wash & add details
Applying special paint to the carved crevices to make architectural details pop. Once dry, then you add the final details to your clay flowers.

30 min- Once the paint is dry, then applying a thin, specialised gloss that adds a ceramic-style shine

30 min | Showcase, & safe travels
The Floral Meadow Display: Line up the finished collection for a group photo against the countryside backdrop.
